Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces, ensuring uptime and safety across our sites. You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults in a live distribution environment, and apply best practices to improve equipment availability.

Based on-site, you will support apprentices, engage in continuous improvement, and work across shifts to sustain operations and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ/IVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics (or equivalent).
• Qualified engineer with relevant mechanical/electrical maintenance experience.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support on-site apprentices' development and progression.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
