Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a broad range of equipment and workspaces while upholding Health and Safety best practices. You will help keep colleagues safe and prevent downtime, boosting availability and quality of assets and contributing to the operational environment across sites.

The role involves on-site maintenance, quick response to machinery issues, and participation in improvements.

Qualifications

• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 etc in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
