Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. is seeking an RME Technician to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. You’ll perform proactive and reactive maintenance on a wide range of site equipment, keep machinery safe and available, and uphold health and safety policies.

You’ll work on continuous improvement projects, respond to breakdowns, and collaborate with on-site colleagues and contractors. The role is on-site at our fulfilment network, with shifts across the day to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing, plus condition-based monitoring.
• Experience with print and apply machines.
• Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use tools to maximise equipment effectiveness and uphold safety policies.
• Support development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
