Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician (RME) to maintain a broad range of site equipment and live distribution warehouse systems. The role focuses on preventative and reactive maintenance, safety compliance, and supporting on-site apprentices.

Based on-site, you will diagnose faults, implement rapid solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement across EU sites, including night and shift coverage to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
