Job summary

Thrive Employment in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations on-site. You will work with the Operations Manager, Project Managers and Installation Team to keep production safe, efficient and to quality standards.

You will coach Section Leaders and staff, manage workflow and deadlines, and act as a key link between the factory floor and senior management, driving continuous improvements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to start work as early as 6:00am.
• Experience managing people in production/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Section Leaders and production personnel.
• Ensure production plans are followed and deadlines met.
• Oversee daily activities and performance of the production team.
• Monitor progress and meet manufacturing deadlines.
• Identify and resolve production issues.
• Maintain high standards of discipline and safety.
• Coordinate with operations, projects, and installation teams.
• Communicate between floor, management and suppliers.
