Job summary

Amey is seeking a qualified Plumber to join our team at HMP Liverpool, supporting the maintenance of a large secure site in the justice system.

You will carry out planned and reactive plumbing work, ensuring safety and compliance, with weekend rota and 39-hour week. This long-term role includes excellent benefits, a pension, training, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Experience in plumbing maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience working in commercial environments.
• Legionella awareness (desirable).
• Experience operating light plant (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance.
• Repairing and maintaining mains water systems.
• Fault finding and repairs on plumbing assets.
• Water hygiene inspections, sampling and risk assessments.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and compliantly.

• Mon-Thu: 07:45am - 4:45pm
• Fri-Sun: 07:45am - 3:45pm
• 1 in 4 weekends (15% salary uplift when on the weekend rota)
