Job summary

Amey is seeking an On‑Site Plumber to join the team at HMP Humber – Brough. The role involves planned and reactive plumbing maintenance on a secure site, with standard hours and a 1 in 3 weekend rota. You will work as part of a national FM provider, ensuring water safety and compliance.

Essential NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating and a Full UK driving licence are required. Legionella awareness is a plus, and the ability to collaborate within a security-focused environment is important.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating is essential.
• Experience in maintenance (commercial or similar).
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Legionella awareness is ideal but not essential.
• Able to work as part of a team in a secure environment.

On‑Site Plumber

Salary: £30,866 – £36,135 plus a 15% weekend allowance

Hours: 39 hours per week
Mon–Thurs: 08:00–17:00
Friday: 08:00–16:00
Weekends: 08:00–15:00 (1 in 3 rota – weekend allowance applies)

Location: HMP Humber – Brough (HU15 2JZ)
