Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Plumber to join our facilities team in Oakham, working within a secure prison environment. The role offers a stable, long-term position with structured hours and ongoing development.

The successful candidate will carry out routine and reactive plumbing maintenance, repair mains water systems, and participate in compliance checks. NVQ Level 2 and UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in plumbing and heating.
• Experience in plumbing maintenance within a commercial setting.
• Knowledge of plumbing and heating systems and fault finding.
• Legionella awareness desirable.
• Experience operating light plant equipment.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine and reactive plumbing maintenance
