Job summary
Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer to service, repair and maintain a range of plant equipment across the St Austell area. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and record work via tablet, contributing to minimal downtime and first-time fixes.

Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience maintaining pumps, generators, excavators, or small plant equipment.
- Full UK driving licence required for this Mobile Plant Engineer role.
- Own hand tools; specialist tools and diagnostic equipment provided.
- Ability to work independently on-site and to deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain plant equipment at customer sites across the St Austell area.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure minimal downtime, aiming for first-time fixes.
- Record all work accurately via tablet, including photos, hours, and parts used.
- Conduct planned servicing and preventative maintenance in addition to urgent repairs and breakdowns.
- Work independently on-site, adhering to safety standards and procedures.
