Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer to join a client’s team around the St Austell area. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing pumps, generators, and other small plant equipment on customer sites.

You will service, diagnose faults, and perform planned maintenance with a focus on first-time fixes, working independently on-site while upholding safety standards. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience servicing and repairing pumps, generators, excavators, or small plant equipment.
• Full UK driving licence is required for this Mobile Plant Engineer role.
• Nice to have: NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or Lantra/NPTC small plant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain plant equipment at customer sites in the St Austell area.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime and improve first-time fixes.
• Record all work via tablet, including hours, parts used and photos.
• Conduct planned servicing and preventative maintenance in addition to urgent repairs and breakdowns.
• Work independently on-site while following safety standards and procedures.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our client's team based around the St Austell area. This is an excellent Mobile Plant Engineer opportunity for experienced professionals looking to develop their career within a reputable utility maintenance company. The Mobile Plant Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant equipment on-site, including pumps, generators, and small plant machinery.

Duties:
