Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer to service, repair and maintain a range of plant equipment across the St Austell area. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and record work via tablet, contributing to minimal downtime and first-time fixes.

The role requires hands-on experience with pumps, generators and small plant equipment, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently on-site with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience maintaining pumps, generators, excavators, or small plant equipment.
• Full UK driving licence required for this Mobile Plant Engineer role.
• Own hand tools; specialist tools and diagnostic equipment provided.
• Ability to work independently on-site and to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain plant equipment at customer sites across the St Austell area.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure minimal downtime, aiming for first-time fixes.
• Record all work accurately via tablet, including photos, hours, and parts used.
• Conduct planned servicing and preventative maintenance in addition to urgent repairs and breakdowns.
• Work independently on-site, adhering to safety standards and procedures.
