Job summary

Pertemps, acting on behalf of a well-established organisation, is seeking a Management Accountant for a six-month fixed-term contract in Bromsgrove. The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with responsibility for monthly management accounts across multiple entities.

You will support the finance function, ensure reporting deadlines are met, and maintain high accuracy in balance sheet reconciliations and group reporting.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification or be qualified by experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce management accounts across multiple entities.
• Effective communication and ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Experience with multi-entity reporting would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts for multiple entities in line with deadlines.
• Assisting with consolidated reporting and group management accounts.
• Producing financial reports, analysis and commentary for business decisions.
• Investigating variances and explaining financial performance.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of records.
• Monitoring and reporting on balance sheet movements.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to provide financial insight and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting.
