Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Management Accountant to join the finance team on a six-month fixed-term contract in Bromsgrove. The role is part-time (15–20 hours/week) with flexible patterns and pro rata salary.

The successful candidate will own the management accounts process across multiple entities, delivering accurate reporting within deadlines and supporting budgeting, forecasting and group reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification or be qualified by experience.
• Previous experience producing management accounts within a commercial or group environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Experience working across multiple entities or business units would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
• Supporting consolidated reporting and group financial reporting requirements.
• Producing financial analysis, reports and commentary to support decision‑making.
• Investigating variances and identifying key trends and insights.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial records remain accurate and up to date.
• Liaising with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and information.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Supporting audit requirements and statutory reporting processes.
• Contributing to finance process improvements and efficiencies.
