Job summary

Global Banking School is seeking an IT Technician to provide high quality, face-to-face IT services for students and staff on our East London campuses, including Stratford and Canary Wharf. You will support AV/IT setups, configure PCs and laptops, and troubleshoot issues to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The role emphasizes security, privacy, and hands-on assistance, with a focus on empowering education and ensuring reliable technology access for learners and educators.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles (CompTIA Network+/CompTIA Security+).
• Hands-on experience with installation of operating systems and software, networks and AD/Exchange.
• Experience providing IT support in person and remotely (phone, online).
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, face-to-face IT services to students and staff on GBS campuses.
• Assist with setting up and moving Audio Visual and IT equipment as required.
• Set up and configure PC/laptop equipment with OS and drivers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose problems and escalate as needed within guidelines.
• Maintain records/logs of loan equipment, repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Follow security best practices to protect networks and systems.
