Placements24 is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide high-level technical support to internal users. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, manage user accounts, and assist with IT projects in Randburg, Gauteng.

The role demands strong problem-solving and customer service skills and requires on-site work. Ideal candidates have experience with Windows/macOS, Office 365, AD, and network basics, and hold relevant IT certifications.

Formación

• Proven experience as IT Support Specialist or Help Desk.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant IT certifications preferred (A+/Network+/MSCT).

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot OS, Office 365, and business applications.
• Manage user accounts and access rights in Active Directory or similar.
• Assist with network troubleshooting and basic router/switch configuration.
• Document IT procedures and participate in IT projects.
