Job summary

Salt Separation Services is seeking an IT Support & SharePoint Technician to join our IT team in Rochdale on-site. You’ll provide first-line IT support, resolve hardware/software issues, manage user accounts, and support Microsoft 365 apps and SharePoint.

You’ll help maintain security standards, assist with SharePoint sites and workflows, and contribute to documentation and training materials. A proactive, customer-focused approach and solid troubleshooting skills are essential in this hands-on,

Qualifications

• Experience in first-line IT support or service desk.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop applications.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online, including sites, libraries and permissions.
• Experience managing user accounts and access controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software and connectivity.
• Support desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile devices.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and OneDrive.
• Set up and maintain user accounts and system access.
• Manage IT assets and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Support SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows.
