Job summary

Avatrial Ltd seeks an IT Support Engineer to back the office, laboratory and infrastructure on site. You will manage Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, networking and physical infrastructure, while ensuring laboratory systems stay connected and secure.

You will collaborate with the Head of IT and vendors as needed. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, ownership and proactive maintenance across LabWare LIMS, AWS workflows and scientific instruments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience, on-site second-line or similar role.
• Troubleshooting Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365 and networking.
• Experience supporting laboratory or scientific equipment; familiarity with LIMS/ELN platforms.
• Experience or strong interest in AWS, PowerShell or Python; firewall administration and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support across office, laboratory and infrastructure.
• Maintain network, servers, devices and secure connectivity.
• Support planned LabWare LIMS environment and AWS-connected data workflows.
• Own issue investigation, fix, and communications with teams.
