Job summary

Gravity Recruit Limited seeks an experienced HR Manager for our Bedford head office, spread across three buildings. This is an on-site role requiring hands-on presence to support managers and maintain effective relationships.

You will deliver professional HR advice across employee relations, performance management and development, coach managers, ensure compliance, and drive projects aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• HR degree or CIPD qualification or equivalent.
• Strong generalist HR experience, ideally in fast-paced environments.
• End-to-end employee relations experience with strong process and documentation.
• Proven ability to build credible in-person relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice across employee relations, performance management and development.
• Build face-to-face relationships with stakeholders to understand teams and priorities.
• Ensure HR activity meets professional standards, compliance and confidentiality.
• Coach managers in a supportive, credible way and adapt communication style.
• Ensure HR projects are executed in line with organisational goals.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement aligned to business needs.
• Analyse HR data to provide clear insights for decision-making.
• Maintain accurate case documentation for auditability.
• Follow policies and processes and ensure outputs are accurate.
