Job summary

TEAM is seeking an HR Manager to influence people practices across the business, providing practical guidance and helping shape a fair, compliant working environment. You will oversee day-to-day HR matters, support managers, and contribute to recruitment, development, wellbeing and engagement initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with managers and senior leaders, managing employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and policy updates while ensuring legal compliance and best practice across operations.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrable employee relations experience, including supporting managers through HR challenges and change.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding and wellbeing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR management, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Manage and support employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence, performance management and appraisals.
• Support recruitment, selection and onboarding, developing systems and processes where required.
• Guide managers on family-friendly policies, employee performance and employment processes to maintain legal compliance.
• Work with the external HR Consultant to maintain contracts, policies and the staff handbook in line with legislation and best practice.
• Support development, training and wider projects including employee surveys, wellbeing initiatives, salary benchmarking and job descriptions.
