Job summary

The HR Dept is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide practical, timely HR guidance to a range of SME clients. You will build strong client relationships, deliver day-to-day HR support and attend client meetings on-site as required.

You will work across generalist HR, employee relations and project work, maintain CPD, and contribute to growing the services offered. A CIPD Level 5 qualification and a driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR experience in SME environments.
• Sound knowledge of employment law and legislative changes.
• Excellent written English and numeracy; accurate at pace.
• Must have a car and full driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across Coventry and Warwickshire for on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance and advice to clients, logging all guidance for audit.
• Draft letters, policies, contracts of employment, and handbooks.
• Attend client meetings on-site and deliver practical HR support.
• Lead on ad-hoc HR projects (restructures, redundancies, policy development).
• Account manage key clients with regular on-site support as the client base grows.
• Support CPD and maintain up-to-date employment law knowledge.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and expand services offered.
