Job summary

HTS Plant Sales is hiring a Workshop Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Hereford. You will inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair heavy plant equipment to ensure safe operation and resale readiness.

Responsibilities include routine servicing, overhauls and refurbishments, maintaining meticulous maintenance records, and prioritising workloads in a busy workshop. You will also guide and train colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with heavy plant machinery and workshop environments.
• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems on construction/industrial equipment.
• Good communication for teamwork, issue reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair a range of heavy plant equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Perform routine services, overhauls, and refurbishments; prepare equipment for resale.
• Complete accurate job cards and maintenance records; manage workloads with colleagues.
• Provide technical guidance or training to other team members as needed.
