Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Solihull is seeking a Site Engineer to join our team. You will diagnose and repair faults across a range of forklift trucks and related equipment, performing preventative maintenance to ensure high availability for customers.

You will need hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, IT literacy, and a full UK driving license to visit customer sites. A positive attitude and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnosing and rectifying faults on forklift trucks or similar plant equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance on material handling equipment is a plus.
• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, locate and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and related equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain accurate records and place orders using company IT systems.
