Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment across the UK. The role involves hands-on fault finding, preventative maintenance, and on-site customer support with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

You will travel to customer sites, work autonomously and in teams, and utilize modern IT tools to record work and place orders. A full UK driving license and relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, with forklift experience preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and servicing to ensure peak efficiency.
• Travel to customer locations to deliver hands-on field service and build strong customer relationships.
