Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Solihull is seeking a Site Engineer to join our service team. You will diagnose and rectify faults on a wide range of forklift trucks and industrial equipment, performing preventative maintenance at customer sites.

The role requires experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, IT literacy for record-keeping, and a full UK driving license. Shift pattern 06:00–14:30 and 14:30–23:00, with a shift premium and overtime opportunities; 25 days leave and pension

Qualifications

• Experience in at least one of: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or hydraulics.
• IT literate and able to use latest technology for accurate records and placing orders.
• Full UK driving license.
• Willing to diagnose faults and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Find, diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Undertake preventative maintenance at customer sites.
• Work with a range from pallet trucks to IC, VNA and automated trucks.
