Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Site Engineer for Solihull to service forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and work from early to late shifts with travel to various locations in the UK.

Ideal candidates have mechanical or electrical engineering experience, IT literacy, and a valid UK driving license. NVQ3 is preferred but not essential, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering related to forklifts or industrial equipment.
• IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep records and place orders.
• Possess a full UK driving license.
• NVQ level 3 preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and service tasks as part of a field team.
• Work across day and late shift patterns (06:00–14:30 and 14:30–23:00) and travel to customer sites.
