Job summary

Keelings is seeking a site engineer for its Finedon site to maintain safety, efficiency and reliability across production equipment. You will lead preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with UK health and safety regulations and GMP.

This full-time, on-site role requires multi-skilled capabilities (mechanical/electrical), City & Guilds Level 4/5, and 17th Edition.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety compliance with UK regulations
• Lead planned preventative maintenance schedules and inspections
• Breakdown repair to minimise downtime and maintain production flow
• Maintain accurate records in engineering logs and internal systems
• Multi-skilled background in mechanical and electrical disciplines
• Experience in a food production / FMCG environment is desirable

Responsibilities

• Ensure site operates safely, efficiently and reliably through proactive and reactive engineering support
• Lead and manage the PPM schedule and inspections
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and prioritise repairs with Operations
• Analyse root causes and implement improvements to equipment performance
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and statutory legislation
