Job summary

Impact Handling, part of Aprolis UK, is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service and repair materials handling equipment. You will diagnose faults, perform servicing and emergency repairs on customer sites, reporting to the local service manager and working independently.

The role requires a technical background in materials handling, experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, and a customer-focused approach; training and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Technical background in Materials Handling or similar.
• Experience and qualifications from a similar role.
• Experience working on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults with machinery and perform servicing and emergency repairs.
• Work on customer and Impact Handling owned machines to keep them in full working order.
• Work independently on customer sites and ensure safety at all times.
• Complete relevant documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
