Job summary

Linde Material Handling in the UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Warrington team. You will diagnose and repair faults on a range of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment at customer sites.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical or electrical engineering background, NVQ level 3, IT-literate, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Training and a company van with a fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as forklift technician or similar role.
• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• IT literate and capable of using basic record-keeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and servicing as required.
• Keep accurate service records and order parts as needed.
• Coordinate with customers and internal colleagues to schedule visits.
