Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a proactive Field Service Engineer to service, diagnose and repair forklift trucks and warehouse equipment across the Northampton area. You will work with a diverse range of machines, perform preventative maintenance, and travel to client sites to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, a UK driving licence, and the ability to work autonomously as part of a wider service team.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with forklift trucks or similar equipment.
• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers is valued.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklift and warehouse equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics, and maintain service records.
