Job summary

Rendall & Rittner is seeking a hands-on Handy Person to look after a calm 74-apartment development in Highgate. You will be the on-site go-to for maintenance, carrying out a mix of planned and reactive tasks to keep buildings, plant rooms and communal areas in top condition.

The role involves liaising with residents and contractors, monitoring health and safety, and ensuring the estate remains clean, safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

Hands-on building or facilities maintenance across residential blocks or estates.
Practical skills in basic plumbing, joinery, decorating and minor electrical tasks.
Experience coordinating contractors and understanding RAMS, permits to work and site inductions.
Customer-facing role where service and communication matter.

Responsibilities

On-site go-to for maintenance, carrying out planned and reactive tasks to keep buildings, plant rooms and communal areas in top condition.

Complete daily site walks, log issues, and action minor repairs; support task logging and updates.
