National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) is seeking an Electricity Distribution Network First Responder to join our Nottingham depot. You will restore electricity supplies, work mainly on your own, and be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a safe, high‑quality service.

The role requires a recognised Level 2 Electrical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) or equivalent and a full UK driving licence.

Qualificações

• Recognised Level 2 Electrical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) or equivalent.
• Full UK/EU driving licence required.
• Experience with electrical installation for commercial and domestic properties.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake standby duties for 24/7 coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve loss of supply at customer properties and address safety concerns.
• Carry out asset inspections and fit meter isolator switches as needed.
• Work largely on your own, representing National Grid onsite.
• Coordinate with Field Operations teams for support when required.
