Job summary

Chemviron, a global purification solutions provider, is recruiting an experienced EHS Supervisor to lead on-site safety and environmental programs at our Durham site.

You will work with plant leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, deliver EHS training, manage permits and ISO 14001, and nurture a proactive safety culture.

The role requires 5–10 years in EHS within manufacturing, a relevant degree, fluent English, and the ability to influence across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of experience in EHS within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of UK environmental and safety regulations.
• Ability to deliver EHS training and influence operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on EHS leadership with site presence and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation.
• Lead EHS management systems including ISO 14001.
• Develop and implement site EHS KPIs.
• Deliver EHS training for employees, contractors, and leadership.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental permits and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee waste management and contractor compliance.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Monitor trends and recommend risk reduction actions.
