Job summary

Search is recruiting an HSEQ Manager for a North East chemical manufacturing operation. You will lead Health & Safety, process safety, and the Integrated Management System across the site, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

The role suits those with a strong HSEQ foundation in chemical/process environments, with NEBOSH Diploma preferred and a pathway from Safety Advisor to management possible.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety experience in chemical/manufacturing environments.
• Experience delivering HSEQ leadership and improving safety culture.
• Knowledge of COSHH, DSEAR, HAZOP, LOPA, Change Management and COMAH is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Health & Safety across the site.
• Support process safety and manage chemical hazard risks.
• Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System.
• Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementations.
• Oversee auditing, compliance, incident investigation and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations to raise safety standards and engagement.
