Job summary

HIVED is seeking an Operations Coordinator to be the central contact for drivers on-site in a fast-growing London-based startup. You will oversee day-to-day driver team operations and support, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The role requires a 4-on/3-off shift, including one weekend day. You will champion driver-focused initiatives, ensure compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high delivery performance and quality.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of logistics/last‑mile experience.
• A hands-on approach to managing and developing team members.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Rapid decision-making and problem solving.
• Efficient use of resources and processes.
• Experience using data for decisions.
• Resilient and professional under pressure.
• Valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of an assigned driver team.
• Champion initiatives to improve driver experience and retention.
• Serve as the primary driver contact for inquiries and support.
• Ensure compliance with HIVED requirements and expectations.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive driver excellence via check-ins and ride-alongs.
