Job summary

DXC Technology in Edinburgh is seeking a hands-on Desktop & Infrastructure Support Engineer. You will support desktops, laptops, VDI and server environments, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to infrastructure projects within a secure client environment.

You will work closely with users and internal IT teams, gaining experience across Microsoft Entra, Azure, Intune and Trellix ePO while following security procedures and documenting all activities.

Qualifications

• Solid background in desktop support and infrastructure environments.
• Experience supporting laptops, desktops, VDI and servers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ownership of issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on desktop and infrastructure support across user devices and environments.
• Manage incidents and tasks with documentation and updates.
• Support installation, configuration, maintenance and deployment of desktop/infrastructure technologies.
• Work with SCCM for OS and application deployments.
