Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager on a freelance basis to join a busy traditional build in Sittingbourne. You will support the Site Manager and Project Manager, taking plots from 1st fix through to handover, on a day rate role.

Responsibilities include coordinating trades, maintaining quality, ensuring H&S compliance, and driving on-time delivery across a PLC-backed project. The position offers long-term freelance work with a competitive day rate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager with a developer.
• Strong knowledge of the build process from 1st fix to handover.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades on a fast paced site.
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing plots from 1st fix through to completion
• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations on site
• Coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time and to standard
• Ensuring H&S compliance across the site
• Maintaining quality control and ensuring snagging is dealt with efficiently
