Job summary

We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a PLC developer on a busy residential development in Sussex. This is a freelance position with the potential for a permanent position.

The Assistant Site Manager will be supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager on site and taking plots from 1st fix to completion. You will oversee plots, coordinate trades, ensure H&S compliance, and maintain quality control to ensure snagging is dealt with efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Site Manager on residential developments.
• Strong understanding of the build process from 1st fix to handover.
• Ability to manage multiple trades on a fast paced site.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing plots from 1st fix through to completion
• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations on site
• Coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality
• Ensuring H&S compliance across the site
• Maintaining quality control and handling snagging efficiently
