Job summary

The One Group are exclusively partnering with an established business based in Ely, seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role requires working on-site Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00, with a 37.5 hour week.

Key duties include invoicing, reviewing credit data, contacting customers on balances, and reporting on credit risk. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in credit control and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a credit control focussed role.
• Ability to work on-site Monday - Friday.
• Good Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue accurate and timely invoices to customers.
• Analyse financial data, credit reports, and payment histories to make informed credit decisions.
• Contact customers to follow up on outstanding balances and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring the prompt resolution of payment issues.
• Provide timely updates on credit-related issues to management.
• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
• Prepare and present regular reports on the status of customer accounts, collections, and credit risk.
