Job summary

The One Group Ltd is working with an established Ely-based business to recruit an experienced Credit Controller for a full-time, permanent position. The role follows a standard Monday–Friday 08:30am–5:00pm schedule, encouraging accurate invoicing, data analysis, and proactive credit management.

You will monitor accounts, assess creditworthiness, and report on collections and risk, while maintaining strong customer relationships and timely credit updates to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a credit control role.
• On-site Monday to Friday.
• £30,000-£33,000 per annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Issue accurate invoices to customers.
• Analyse credit data, reports and payment histories to inform decisions.
• Follow up on outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and prompt resolution of issues.
• Provide updates on credit issues to management.
• Evaluate creditworthiness of customers.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts, collections and credit risk.

The One Group are exclusively partnering with an established business based in Ely, who are looking to recruit for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Issue accurate and timely invoices to customers.
• Analyse financial data, credit reports, and payment histories to make informed credit decisions.
• Contact customers to follow up on outstanding balances and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring the prompt resolution of payment issues.
• Provide timely updates on credit-related issues to management.
• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
• Prepare and present regular reports on the status of customer accounts, collections, and credit risk.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a credit control focussed role
• Ability to work on-site Monday - Friday
• £30,000-£33,000 per annum, depending on experience
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays, rising with service
