Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to be the main on-site contact for clients and managers, coordinating a team of cleaners to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will report to the Site Manager and support training and induction of new staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Experience coordinating a team.
• Experience cleaning in similar environments.
• Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety compliance.
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues.
• Strong communication skills for client liaison and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Be the clients’ and managers’ main point of contact on site.
• Coordinate and drive a team on site, while completing core cleaning duties with the team.
• Support the manager with the training and induction of new staff, and the completion of training records.
• Lead by example when completing tasks, following the safe systems of work and method statements.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are performed to a high standard.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained in good condition.
• Address any operational issues or challenges that arise, finding effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.
