Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Casual Caretaker for a temporary assignment in Henley-on-Thames. The role runs for 2–5 months with a pay rate of £13.05 per hour. Hours are 11:30am–6:30pm, Monday to Thursday, plus a shorter Friday shift. Enhanced DBS is essential, and free on-site parking is provided. Immediate availability is preferred for this assignment.

The post-holder will support a facilities team, maintain a clean and safe environment, perform minor repairs, and handle security checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general caretaking, maintenance, and site management duties as directed by the Facilities Manager.
• Support opening and closing of the site, including alarm activation/deactivation on a rota basis.
• Respond to site-related issues raised by staff and assist with maintenance concerns.
• Monitor and report health and safety issues across the site.
• Complete required monitoring records for site systems and installations.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all site users.
• Undertake general upkeep, maintenance, and minor repairs as required.
• Collaborate within the caretaking team and show initiative.
