Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Facility Caretaker in Bourton-on-the-Water. The role covers cleaning, basic maintenance and site upkeep for office and manufacturing areas. You will coordinate contractors and manage own workload with some call-out responsibilities, while maintaining safety and site presentation.

This full-time, permanent position offers 37.5 hours per week, flexi-time, and a salary up to £30,000 depending on experience. Training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, caretaking, maintenance or janitorial roles.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and basic repairs.
• Capable of working independently and prioritising the workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning across the site, including bathrooms and canteen areas.
• Manage general rubbish and recycling.
• Carry out general facilities maintenance and minor repairs.
• Replace air filters and support routine maintenance within manufacturing areas.
• Coordinate contractor and supplier visits for scheduled maintenance.
• Support building security, locking/unlocking and call-out cover when required.
• Carry out routine fire alarm testing.
