Contract Options seeks a reliable School Caretaker for a part-time, term-time role near Datchet, Berkshire. The position offers 20 hours per week at £14.50–£14.90 per hour in a permanent capacity with 12 weeks’ holiday.

Typical shifts are after school hours across Mon-Wed, Fri, and Thu, with duties including site security, room setup, event support, basic maintenance and safety reporting in a welcoming secondary school environment.

SCHOOL CARETAKER PERMANENT PART TIME

Location: Near Datchet, Berkshire
£14.50 £14.90 per hour 20 hours per week Permanent, Term-Time

We are looking for a reliable and practical School Caretaker / Assistant Site Controller to join a welcoming secondary school. This is a permanent, part-time, term-time position offering 12 weeks holiday per year.

The Role

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 3:00pm 6:00pm

• Thursday: 3:00pm 8:30pm

• Secure and lock the school site

• Set up rooms for events and activities

• Support private lettings and weekend football

• Carry out basic maintenance and general site duties

• Report health and safety issues

• Help keep the site safe, clean and well presented

The Ideal Candidate
