New Appointments Group is recruiting a Temporary Caretaker for our client in Sheerness. Start date is immediate. 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with a pay rate of £15-£20 per hour. DBS enhanced required.

The role covers opening/closing, general caretaking, estates work, building checks, and supporting contractors to keep the site secure, clean and safe.

Formación

• Reliable and punctual with a practical, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently and on a shift basis.
• Previous caretaking/estates or facilities experience preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Caretaker to join our clients team on an immediate-start basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out opening and closing (unlocking/locking up) duties on a shift basis.
• Undertake general caretaking and estates duties across the site.
• Carry out routine checks of buildings and facilities.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns.
• Assist with setting up and clearing areas as required.
• Ensure the premises are secure and ready for use.
• Support contractors and maintenance teams when required.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

About You

• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Practical and confident carrying out general caretaking duties.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Flexible and willing to work on a shift basis.

• Comfortable with opening and securing premises.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS required
• Previous caretaking, estates, facilities or maintenance experience
• Availability for an immediate start.
• Flexibility to work the required opening/closing shifts between 9am and 8pm
