Job summary

Simulation Solutions is seeking a site-based Calibration Engineer in Leeds to calibrate, verify and support medical simulators at a key customer facility.

You will work with the customer's lab, engineering and quality teams, ensuring accuracy, reliability and compliance with ISO standards. This role requires practical technical ability, attention to detail, and professional conduct on-site.

The position is full-time and permanent with a salary of £40,000–£45,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Qualification in mechanical, electrical, electronic, mechatronic or instrumentation engineering.
• Experience calibrating, servicing, maintenance or testing equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Experience producing calibration records or service documents.
• Proficient with MS Office and electronic record systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned calibration of medical simulators and measurement systems.
• Calibrate parameters such as load, torque, displacement, temperature, and speed.
• Ensure calibration is traceable and compliant with ISO/ASTM standards.
• Maintain calibration records and certificates.
• Work with customer teams at their site and manage workload.
