Job summary

Trescal is seeking a Calibration Engineer to join our team at one of our UK sites, including Stockport. You will calibrate a range of measuring instruments and repair facilities in line with ISO9001 and UKAS requirements, contributing to accurate and compliant results.

You will maintain traceable records, operate within EMS management systems, and participate in ongoing training and development. The role offers flexible options and a clear path for career growth.

Qualifications

• Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above.
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities per ISO9001 and UKAS requirements.
• Maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner using EMS management systems.

About The Role

Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications. A successful candidate will be expected to independently maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing EMS management systems.
