Job summary

Few&Far is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise clients across the UK. This on-site role involves embedding with customer teams, understanding workflows and building AI-powered automation using the company platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' professional experience in a technical role.
• Demonstrable experience working on-site with customers.
• Strong engineering skills and ability to write, debug and iterate scripts.
• Experience with APIs, data, databases and/or enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with modern AI tooling, LLMs, agentic systems and retrieval.
• Ability to use AI development tools while owning the solution.
• Experience taking ambiguous problems from 0→1.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset focused on measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Embed yourself within customer organisations to understand workflows.
• Spend time on-site with customers, building relationships.
• Map processes and identify AI automation opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into agent behaviours and workflows.
• Build and deploy AI-powered agents using the company platform.
• Connect solutions to ERPs, portals and databases.
• Debug, test and iterate in live customer environments.
• Work with Product and Engineering and measure deployment impact.
• Help establish repeatable deployment methodologies.
