Job summary

UPP Exeter is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team, providing both planned and responsive maintenance for student accommodation. This permanent role is 37.5 hours per week, on a 7-week rolling rota with shifts from 8am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday.

You will carry out reactive maintenance in line with the SLA, keep the residence clean and compliant, assist with moving refuse, white goods, mattresses and furniture safely, and report health and safety issues to the Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role and environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance per SLA and provide front-line response.
• Keep the residence environment clean and compliant with the SLA.
• Assist with moving refuse, white goods, mattresses and furniture safely.
• Report health and safety issues to the managers.
