Job summary

UPP Exeter is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our on-campus housing team. The role is a permanent full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, on a rota from 8am to 11pm, seven days a week on a 7-week cycle.

Salary offered is £27,793 per annum, with benefits described below. You will carry out reactive maintenance, ensure a safe, clean environment in line with our SLA, assist with moving items, and report health and safety issues to the site managers.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Experience in similar maintenance role or environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance in line with SLA and provide front line response.
• Keep the environment clean and compliant with SLA during the tear.
• Assist with moving refuse, white goods, mattresses and furniture safely.
• Report health and safety issues to the relevant Manager(s).
