Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service seeks an on-call firefighter to respond to emergencies and engage with the community. This is a paid, part-time role with duties on call to protect lives and property.

Applicants must be able to reach the fire station within four minutes of being alerted. The role requires physical fitness and includes a comprehensive training programme; a Standard DBS Check is required.

Qualificações

• No prior firefighting experience required; a comprehensive training programme is provided.
• Must be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted (4 minutes).
• Physical fitness is essential for the demanding tasks of on-call firefighters.
• Post is subject to a Standard DBS Check.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to a range of emergencies and protect people and assets.
• Engage with the community and attend events as required.
• Work as part of a team on the front line during incidents.
